Default Republican Debate

If these are the best Candidates available we are in trouble. Where oh where is Jeb Bush? Even Sarah Palin looks good.

Please. While Jeb probably could do the job well, the electorate has had enough Bushes.

Palin would provide one positive, she would elevate the rest of the candidates by comparison.

The only thing I heard them talk about today was who is sleeping with who and are they using protection. And this is the party of small government? Do they think these are the issues Americans really care about?

I have a feeling that the candidates focus groups iterated a distaste for heated exchanges between the candidates and they scaled back any notion of direct vociferous debate and tried to appear "positive" instead.

If you're in the forefront like Romney, who's been running for President for five years, this is a godsend. The other candidates needed to highlight their differences with Romney in a way that intrigued the viewer, and all of his opponents failed miserably in this last debate to provide that viewer epiphany.

I have to agree on having already met our limit of Bush Administrations. I think Palin would make a great president, but I seriously doubt that it is on her bucket list.

Caribou Barbie is too busy making money off of dupes with her speeches and ghost-written books. Palin is THE reason the G'Nopers lost in 2008.

If Gov Romney were running against a republican heavyweight, Chris Christie (pun intended), Jeb Bush, Mitch Daniels, Jim DeMint or John Thune, he would be laughed off the stage. Instead, he's running against the only speaker of the house in US history to be thrown out by his own party and fined $300,000
Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santoram, who lost his last election by 18 points.
