Don't even think about means testing for anyone within 20 years of full retirement age. People makes assumptions when they plan for retirement and it is just wrong to change the rules half way through the game. I don't care how much money you have, if you are within 20 years of full retirement age, hand off. Full disclosure: SS does need reforms that should be phased in over time. I would, however, immediately remove the maximum SS tax that can be paid in a year. This never made sense to me. And yes, it would impact me.

They combine a means to "do good" while fleecing and often quasi-extorting supporters, utilize their prior government service and get RICH. Yet morons and credulous people like you fall for it constantly. They count upon having enough stupid people such that they can play on the liberal heartstings and know they will get no flack. ... and you definitely prove them correct in their assessment. Question: if Mitt Romney or one of the Bush's got rich doing this, would you not even see a hint of scandal? Of course you would, and so would anyone. Yet, because of the Clinton name, you instantly transform into the 3 monkeys ... hear no evil, see no evil etc What makes your situation so doubly pathetic is you are apparently too dense to realize you're being sold a bill of goods while the Clintons are cashing checks. God help us. |

Apples and oranges ...school taxes are a social good from which we all benefit ... ie presumably an educated populace but sometimes I wonder when I look at the PC crap in schools these days. The original deal with social security was you pay in, and you get something back. My point about "forcing" things remains accurate ... socialists think nothing of forcing people to do things because after all, socialists are enlightened and know best ...much better in fact than the common people who work for a living. |

For Clintons, speech income shows how their wealth is intertwined with charity - The Washington Post
There is absolutely nothing wrong here, and would pass any smell test that anyone could possibly envision. I mean, who could object to what the Clintons do on ethical grounds? |

It is obvious by the nature of some of the posts here about Clinton....it does not matter what she did or did not do, right or wrong none of this matters. She is a democrat and that is good enough.

There are many of such organizations throughout the world. Problem is where you get the money from.....no matter your works, you cannot break the law to fund it. Check out today's New York Times and read HER involvement AND the State Department in making some Russians rich with uranium in a deal followed by large contributions to the foundation. This is the NEW YORK TIMES, not some right wing conspiracy as she always calls it. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/24/us...pany.html?_r=0 |

That her agenda past and present is sqeaky clean? In a court of law one's life can hang in the balance based on reasonable doubt. Is there no doubt about Clinton's transgressions? |

I believe the most disconcerting issue about Hillary Clinton is that her candidacy will implode too prematurely

I think the situation with Chelsea is an excellent reason to tax inherited wealth ... let's give exemptions for family farms and small business, but for offspring of politicians, how about a zero exemption? God bless America.

Hillary, in an act of incredible political bravery, has spoken out forcefully against sexual assault.
Blog: Hillary condemns sexual assault (with a straight face) https://www.insidehighered.com/quick...sexual-assault Hillary said when women of any age face sexual assault, then no woman (except for Paula Jones, Juanita Brodderick and a bunch of others who don't count) is secure. |

I wonder if the Clinton supporters know how silly they look defending this dishonest duo. Even some of the main street media have given up trying to defend this duo and the manner in which operate. Its not that they are clever at hiding their dishonesty its that supporters are too heavily and emotionally invested . Let go they are greedy immoral and self-centered people
