Default June 6,1944 D-Day ...........

For just one day might we be able to put aside our political bickering and reflect with gratitude what our Nation`s young men and women accomplished and sacrificed so many years ago .

Unfortunately the only way to stop something like the Third Reich is with bloody battles. Demagogues stirring up people on hatred, bigotry and lies can do a great deal of damage especially if the cultural, economic, and social factors are there-- like they were in the 1930s-- to put fascist governments in power where there were no checks-and-balances and little if no respect for the Constitutions and Human Rights let alone International Laws.

I've got news for you, Germany was forced into war by all the BS they were put through, land taken away, the reparations they were forced to pay, because of WWI. It bankrupted the country and made Germans slaves. It's what brought about the Reich and nationalism.

WWI wasn't over some Duke that nobody liked, it was the entangled treaties and defense alliances that caused it to escalate.

ALL were unnecessary wars.

All these are things to consider when you are talking about Adolph Trump. He nationalistic views, hatred of Muslims and Mexicans, and totalarism are exactly what Hitler was pitching to the Germans - and see what happened!

It seems that Killary and Adolph have more in common.

So, you are proud to be in favor of Nazism. You are one pitiful piece of pond scum .

I am sure you have passed on your hatred of other religions and races to your ignorant spawn.

Germany was broke after World War 1. Where did Hitler borrow the money? Where did he buy the oil?

Do you get your sources on line? Do you have an opinion on Col. Fletcher Prouty? He's been around a long time.

Instead of tearing down the forum and setting fire to it, can't you for once allow the OP to make a comment that is not totally diverted to your agenda? On Memorial Day, you don't disparage or question the conflict, you remember the fallen. We have the best country in the world. Why? Because men died for it. Because of them we have the most powerful country, making us relatively free from attack from outside. Whether you LIKE war or not does not mean beans to me. I don't care what you think of war or history. These people served our country honorably and you have NO right to demean that. So, take your tired agenda elsewhere. It's real easy to Monday morning quarterback from your easy chair. I have traveled to and lived in many different countries, longer than I have lived in the U.S.of A. and I have yet to find a better country than ours. Don't try to make us one of the others. We have the best and if that is not good enough for losers that insist on disparaging it, then they can kiss my ****!

Who knows what is true or not? We don't. Probably never will.

I know for a FACT that oftentimes what really happens isn't what is reported in the news, in the history books either. I know that "inquiry panels" and commissions are theater and nothing more.

It's a real shame we're lied to like we are.

People who get their "facts" from the mainstream media really are hopelessly misinformed. They're "propagandized".
