I recall a few years ago, posters predicting this day would come....that people will eventually be going to the National Enquirer and other sites to prove we are surrounded by UFOs. We move in that direction. |

Some of you read. Some of us read and understand. Personally I've not quoted a conspiracy website, unless you consider healthcare.gov one. |

You bet. Read the source(s) I sited. Many illegals are being placed in noted immigrant categories so they can be covered by the ACA. Read the news for goodness sakes. Maybe you, ColdNoMore, and ColdNoMore2 should have a conference call to decide how to deal with your next set of inane responses. |

The ACA clearly and with great clarity forbids extension of benefits to illegal immigrants. Do you challenge that ? A number of right wing extremists have published articles (Daily Caller for one) saying some emergency rooms make some exceptions feeling it is in their best interest financially to handle these cases. There is a provision in the law where it allows states to ask for waivers on any provision. In California, there is a move to ask for such a waiver, but that has not happened yet. It is a non point since Trump is going to eliminate the ACA first day in office. Please explain what I got wrong. Thanks. |

People will believe ANYTHING. The Enquirer is tame compared to the "stories" in religious texts. Quote:

Ole Mitch didn't hurt my feelings. He simply stated that the goal of the Republican Party, led by him, was to hurt the Obama presidency. Not to work together. Not to help America. But to win elections. Now he wants us to cozy up and work together. Next, I am liberal. Proud of it. So you're wasting your time thinking that I will take that moniker as an insult. Liberals are Progressive. The opposite of progressive is regressive. Uh, that would be you. Those with liberal ideas are the only ones who have accomplished the big things in our history because they have the courage to try something new and different, and the intelligence to know that the only way to improve is to change. Unlike you, I'll cite some examples. The Emancipation Proclamation. The Voting Rights Act. The Civil Rights Movement. The Peace Corp. Women's right to vote. Universal public education. Rural electrification. And yes, the Affordable Care Act, flawed thought it might be, at least it's an attempt to address a real problem in this country. This list could go on and on, but you can Google that for yourself. I am repeating those talking points of racism, misogyny, xenophobia, narcissism, and KKK support because they were true during the election and they are still true after the election. He said those things, so he owns those things. The appointment of Steve Bannon is a pretty clear example that he hasn't changed his mind or his personality. That doesn't go away just because the election is over. I'm sure you still think Secretary Clinton is a crook and that the ACA is ruining America, even though the election is over. Sorry fellow, but this was a pretty brainless argument. You are correct that Secretary Clinton will not win the Electoral College selection. Too bad. But you can not deny that she received 2.5 million more votes than Trump. Sorry buddy, but that's just a fact, which are things that many Trump supporters have a hard time dealing with. Come to think of it, you probably will deny that she got more votes, but the FACTS prove otherwise. Here's a suggestion. Watch something other than FOX News occasionally to see how the majority of the American voters think. Now I'm going to use your own logic against your argument. You stated, "It was NOT the majority of America. Only half the registered voters even turned out to vote so, you can say maybe a quarter of America feels the way you do." However many feel the way I do, it's undeniable that less than that number feel the way you do, by about 2.5 million. So if Secretary Clinton has the support of 25%, then how much can Trump claim, maybe 23%? Maybe we can agree that all Americans should vote, but if all Americans had voted in this election do you really think Trump would have won? Poor loser? You bet. Go ahead and enjoy your end zone touchdown dance while you can, because just like the way conservatives treated President Obama, everything that happens for the next four years is on Trump, and you can expect to hear about it every day! |

Well, we have heard from the ONLY three libtards on this forum. Bet their arms are sore from patting each other on the back for being so sharp and witty.
Proud of being a liberal? I am glad that some can admit to their faults. It is refreshing. Although, claiming to be progressive and then voting for Bernie the commie or Hillary that wanted more of the same, is not most reasonable folks' definition of progressive. If anything, I guess Trump would be the real progressive. But, live in your imaginary world and comfort each other after LOSING the election. You do believe you lost, right? Poor losers are very unbecoming, but only because they are so blatantly petulant. You can try to rationalize or justify your loss, but the fact is that your side has an ANTI-American view of things and most of America does not see it your way. YES, MOST of the country. Hillary lost because the left did not turn out to vote. More blacks and Latinos voted for Trump than Romney, which also shows that more minorities are starting to wake up and realize how they have been conned by the left. And yes, we do expect to hear from you every day. . After all, those with their hands out are likely to cry when their reservoir of freebies dries up. If you think anyone believes that you are proud to claim to be a loser or claim to be a liberal, then you are only fooling yourself. You see, you liberals need us, but we don't need you. You can't survive without us, but the left is nothing more than a bothersome burden to the right. But, we are inclusive. And believe me, when I say that we have taken a lot of cr@p from the left in the name of PC. Sorry if we don't show our appreciation for being disparaged by the so-called leader of our country for the past 8 years. At least you will not have to contend with Obama's style of divisiveness. Trump has already shown his wish to heal and repair the country's division. It was Obama that said "Elections have consequences...and I won." Remember that. And Chi, you have a lot of gull to suggest that other posters make "snippy" posts. Snippy one liners have been your trait from the beginning. Closing argument "wins the case?" Good luck on that, because hillary's closing argument certainly did not win her the case/ELECTION. You LOST, so live with it. We did, for 8 years of incompetent and partisan leadership. I bet this term will be easier on you. |
Quote:
Obama has set the bar so low on expectation and was still able to win a second term, therefore a non issue for Trump (or anybody else for that matter). And we do understand we will hear from the "poor losers" including the main stream media for the entire 8 years!! A touchdown is a touchdown no matter where or how. |
Quote:
Spot on. Day one for Trump: repeal the ACA; privatize Medicare, social security and the VA; start rounding up 11 million illegals; start building the wall; ban all Muslims from entering the country. Donald is going to have to miss the inaugural parade with so much on his plate. |

There is no hope once reps get something in their mind, they are like a dog with a bone. We had one poster on here (a member of the six-pack) who swore he saw the black panthers at Laurel Manor on election day. |

Mitch McConnell says he had one goal for Obama's first term, to make him a one-term president. One goal for four years and he failed miserably. Obama went on to not only win re-election, but became only the sixth president in history to win back to back elections with over 50% of the vote. Eisenhower was the last pres to do this. So now it's Sen Chuck Schumer's turn to step up to the plate...mano y mano...New Yorker vs New Yorker. First up, blocking Trump's pick for Sec of Defense by blocking the vote on the waiver. |
Quote:
I agree, he did fail. It's too bad, because look at all the damage Obie has done to America. Example: YOU. Obama won, yes. Trump won, yes. How does the percentage of electoral votes make a difference? Hillary lost, which is a step in the right direction. Schumer is a scumbag that will undoubtedly never achieve anything more than where he is now. He has peaked, and his mouth is going to make him just as much an idiot villain as Lying Harry Reid. If Mattis is blocked, which would be political suicide for any politician, then America will be up in arms and anyone opposing his confirmation will surely suffer the political consequences. You on the left really want America to fail, don't you? Losing really means that much. So pathetic. |
