We have a cruise scheduled out of Miami. What transportation could accommodate us in June? Any buses?

I agree....Yankee Trails....used them in Feb. to go to Miami. Had a private car to go down with a very pleasant woman driving and coming back we were in a great big bus. Comfortable...showed a movie but I brought my book and was very comfortable. I don't think Yankee Trails runs in June - it covers the Caribbean season from October to April - otherwise that is the method I should have recommended

Renting a car would be the cheapest. Plenty of rest stops on the turnpike, but still a long drive.

You're right! I already called Yankee Trails. They don't run in June. But thanks for the response. I might check with Enterprise.

Or, you could go a day early and take Amtrak from Wildwood.

Hello ladies,

I would recommend you consider taking Amtrak from DeLand to Miami. There are 2 trains daily:
#91 Deland 8:56 am/ arrives 5:58 pm in Miami
#97 Deland 11:38 am/arrives 6:39 pm in Miami

Deland is about 1 1/2 hrs.east the Villages.

You should be able to find a local car service to take you to DeLand.

My daughter takes Amtrak north often from DeLand and it works well for her.

We have used Cruise Connection many times but with 4 of you it would be cheaper to rent a car and drive.
