Minnesota does have tornadoes. I talked to a Villager who was near a very bad one in the Twin Cities area. Fridley 1965. She is on Talk of the Villages or was back when I visited with her at a dog park .

Lived in Minny most of my life. High taxes, horrendous mosquitoes, 30 below temps in January, and black ice. A beautiful state up north and great fishing but not worth the cost.

I also had to replace two roofs because of hail damage.

The current run has a low in the Caribbean at 5 days out and moves the circulation in to the Gulf at 8 days. This bears watching as the Gulf coast could be impacted starting the week of October 20.
Hurricane season in Florida lasts until end of November.

Good. I don’t have to reschedule this weekend’s Pennecamp neighborhood garage sale again

The latest 15-day simulation has nothing cooking. You should be good to go. With the very warm waters of the Gulf, I take a look daily.
