A/C is down
Got a call from my home Watch person to report a problem with A/C unit. Got Sun Kool to check it out and they determined my blower motor had burnt out and I need a new one. It needs to be ordered and could take a couple of days. With the weekend coming on I.can add a couple more day’s with the A/C not running. I am thinking of asking my neighbor to go in and turn on all the ceiling fans to move the air around and help with humidity. Any other suggestions for things I can do to help with humidity until my A/C gets fixed. Thanks in advance for all replies.

Try calling another A/C guy.

I wouldn't worry about it if it will be fixed in a few days. Keep the windows closed. Running the ceiling fans won't hurt.

Run a couple of dehumidifiers to keep the relative humidity down and prevent mold growth.

Same with us last September. Had to have a new unit. 10 days before available due to supply chain. We were not there, but Chuck Farrell brought a portable ac., run all the fans. Home watch stopped every 2 days, to check on things. Soon as unit arrived, installed next day. House temp stayed at 77, with portable unit running intermittently.

You would think they or someone would have hundreds of used A/c parts with all new units they install? I would imagine fans are good on 95% of them?
