Post Calling all weather buffs

We got oodles of rain last night in the southern part of the Villages. Our pool was to the brim, and the pool deck drains were over burdened. Thankfully the pool did not overflow and the drains caught up. Anyone know where I can find out how much rain actually fell?

We received just over 2” in St. Catherine.

Download the PWS Monitor app and choose the weather stations closest to your house. That way you can see what’s happening in real time.

ETA: As far as your deck drains. Remove the end caps and clean them out. They can clog up with algae and dirt quite quickly.

We had about 30 MINUTES total of rain here yesterday. .47" on my Ambient WS5000 Station rain gauge (KFLTHEVI353) as of of 11:59:59 PM last night here in Amelia but the way the weather is here in central FL it could have been 4" a few blocks away ..... or even across the street. Not a "weather buff" but mostly use the station to control my lawn irrigation controller.
