Default Dec 15 Weather Club Meeting Cancelled Due to Severe Weather

The Dec 15 Weather Club meeting is cancelled due to the threat of severe weather. However, the same talk (How The Oceans Influence Our Weather) will be given Dec 16 (Friday) at 4 PM at the Lake Miona Recreation Center for the Philosophy Club.

I majored in Philosophy. Do find it very ironic. Philosophy is basically critical thinking.

Who do you have to be critical of? Asking for a friend.

The data presented by the Weather Club appears very cherry-picked to fit an assertion of there being no Global Warming?

Yes, it’s another way the govt. can get more taxes out of American tax payers. Global warming is controlled by Mother Nature. So I guess they have way to pay her off!

If government, in general, is such a problem and NOT a solution, why was it that so many Villageland people over 65 were happy to get their FREE Covid shots? And why is the US government partnering with France to launch a special weather satellite designed to measure the increased ocean height brought about by Global Warming, to help provide warnings to coastal cities and areas to save lives? Government saving American and world lives - not much to dislike there!

Sorry, nothing from the "government" is free. We all paid for it, whether we use it or not.

Lol! Reminds me of one time, back in the mid 90's. I was living in Duluth, MN at the time. There was a big global warming conference up near Tower, MN, about 100 miles north of Duluth near the Canadian border, cancelled because of severe weather. The "weather" in question? Sixty degrees BELOW zero F. That's actual temp. The temp. with windchill was something like -115.

Gotta love it.

If Antarctica gets warm we will be in deep doo-doo. The above temperatures might be mild in terms of those Minnesota temps.
