Default Hurricane Scoreboard

Michael Mann only needs 15 more named storms this season in order to verify his 33 named storm "global warming" forecast.

Regarding climate change, Dr. Steven Koonin said, “There are motivations for everybody to kinda not tell the truth or to tell half-truths ... It’s a wonderful business opportunity.”

Yes, but the season is not over yet.

and then there's the late season:
Hurricane Alex in January 2016

That confirms that hurricane activity was greater in the past -- especially at The Villages.

That almost sounds like politics or medicine. Interesting point of view.

Probably because climate has changed and shifted, not because there are fewer or less.

To BE Global Warming or NOT to BE Global Warming.....that is the ? Whether it is better to look at "funky" charts or actual temperature measurements? Whether to discuss hurricanes from 1871 as MEANINGFUL? Whether weather is wetter and warmer in 2024?
..........To answer these questions simply look up world temperatures. You find that 2023 was the highest to date. And 2024 is on record to be the new highest on record. Increasing warm air and oceans like the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico that surround Florida mean increasing chances of KILLER Hurricanes.
...........According to NCEI's statistical analysis 2024 is on track to be the WARMEST year globally on record. From Jan to Oct 2024 it has been 2.3 degrees F ABOVE the 120 year average.

Hottest on "record" yes ... but only since 1979 which is when global satellite data began. Also note, that the heating spike was caused by Tonga's unprecedented water-vapor -- and not CO2.

Hopefully the new secretary of energy will put an end to this global warming nonsense
