Default United Nations Declares Guns Control Weather

The UN Disarmament Handbook says, "Disarmament is especially important for climate protection." I can't find that claim in any weather or climate text book, but current data shows that the earth has been cooling for the last 7 years, even though guns and CO2 are increasing. This amazing "climate protection" claim will be discussed at the Gun Club (Jan 19 at Savannah at 6 PM, and Jan 23 at Eisenhower at 5:30 PM).

Nuclear weapons is probably what they mean and the possible use of these. Not guns in terms of rifles, shotguns, pistols, muskets, etc. Disarmament | United Nations

Nuclear "was" the original intent, but has since gone far beyond. UNODA, which helped draft the Disarmament Handbook says this ... “The branch {UNODA} is the lead agency of the Coordinating Action on Small Arms (CASA) mechanism, which was established by the Secretary-General in 1998 to harmonize policy and coordinate action by the various UN agencies working in this field.” Note the "small arms" phrase. The talk will show related gun/climate UN agendas.

I suppose anything that creates carbon/greenhouse could be included. Guns would when they are manufactured, and when a round is fired

But to single out guns is silly. Everything produces carbon/greenhouse as it is created, some may or may not as they are used. All organic matter creates carbon/greenhouse gas as it decays, and I suppose a gun would as it rusts, or if it is melted down to create something else.

Climate change makes me think of the "elixir salesman" as he would go from town to town. His pitch was his elixir would cure everything, regardless of what it was. Climate change is the current "cure-all" product. Another word for such a product is snake oil.

Which is kind of what climate change is.

Not again -- but more -- thanks to the UN. Their "knotted gun" sculpture clearly demonstrates how disarmament will make our weather better ... The Knotted Gun Sculpture, United Nations Headquarters – History of New York

That sculpture is about the murder of John Lennon.

Quote:
This sculpture is called “the knotted gun” located outside the United Nations headquarters. It was designed by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reutersward as a tribute to his friend John Lennon after he was shot and killed in New York in 1980. John Lennon was an advocate of peace which was evident in the lyrics of many of his songs both with The Beatles as well as with his wife Yoko Ono.
From the link you supplied.

That's funny -- it doesn't at all look like Lennon -- nor does it explain how it will protect the climate and save our weather.

I'd respond to this idiocy, but I'm too busy rolling on the floor laughing

What cracks me up is a gun club meeting to discuss climate change. Probably a club of one.

Yes it is funny -- in that the UN thinks guns control weather.
