Glaciers all over the world are melting - including at both poles Polar bears are endangered. Al Gore was correct about the TREND. It is always difficult to predict even what will happen ONLY one year into the future. What IS certain is that the poles are melting and that is proven by more ships in the Arctic and the measurements of the oceans rising.

There are 130,000 glaciers on Earth, SOME are melting, others are growing. Overall, they are melting---AS EXPECTED. They started melting 20,000 years ago and will continue to melt for another 30-40,000 years. Likewise, PARTS of the polar ice caps are melting, other parts are GROWING, and overall, even though they have been growing for the last 10 years, they have been melting for 20,000 years as well and will continue to melt. So, yes, in that sense Al gore was correct about the trend, I was correct about the trend, and even you are correct about the trend---that's a no-brainer. HOWEVER, that trend HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH HUMAN ACTIVITY. It has been a cycle that has repeated itself over a dozen times over the last 4.5 million years of our CURRENT ICE AGE.

WRONG. Greenhouse gases only slow the escape of heat to space. A cooler object (the air) can not heat a warmer object (the earth). It's called science.
