Default 48v batteries

I just got 6, 8volt batteries installed by 'Joe's Specialty Custom Golf Carts' 352-454-9853. Cost for Trojan T-875 was $630 plus tax to total 674.10. Turns out that 3 of the battery trays were rotted from acid, and were caked with white, cement like deposits, and had to be replaced. He also replaced 2 hold downs, and 3 cables, and power washed the inside of the cart. Everything was included in the $674.10 which surprised me. FYI, the shop is located in back of the Advance Auto parts on 441. He came to the house picked up the cart, and returned it the next day. So far, so good, now I just hope they last 5 years like the last batteries.

Default T105

Just had 8 (6 volt) Trojan T105s installed for just less than $800. If I recall it was $96/battery. Grandma and Grandpa Village Buggies took carts away, power washed tray and motor, installed new ones.

They did a nice job in a timely fashion. I do not think they make much money on these at the volume they deal with.

Default Trojan batteries

Note the 875's are the mid-range battery from Trojan. One can have 890's installed which are the same size but contain about 6#'s more lead in each battery. Lead equates to electricity and therefore distance and probably life. The 890's should run about $30+ more per battery. We have been very happy with them in our carts for 5+ years. Masters Golf Cars - across from Marion Market - a family run business has been our source.
