Default AlumaCar

Hi, Now that the AlumaCar has been selling for a few months, does anyone have any likes or dislikes about it? Especially if you bought one, have you had any issues with it?

somebody bought one, it was posted on another thread, do a search and write to them!

I test drove one and it was fairly nice, but made in China so I'm leery about long term quality. I'm still in the shopping mode, hadn't crossed it off but I may stick with something of a known quantity (CC or EZGO)

Also drove an Alumacar today the Low Speed Vehicle model that qualifies for the $5,475 dollar federal credit if purchased by Dec 31, 2009. It's priced at $10,052 with the 8 inch wheels and village ready. So about 4k bottom line. It has similar technology to the EZGO with many American made parts such as the Controller and AC motor. The warranty is a little skimpy at 2 years, and caution read the fine print. Seems to be a new company and I wonder do you take a chance? Also they do not yet have a copy of the IRS letter saying it qualifies.

They don't squeek anymore. They found the problem and fixed it right. I rate the cart A-14

After a year I would give Alumcart best in the business. Great cart, great service , great people to deal with. Your satisfaction in their goal.

My Alumacar had the same squeeky brake problem. It is fixed. I've had my Alumacar for 10 months and I think it's great. The AC gives it good range. I've gone over 40 miles in a day and still had over 20% charge left. Great people to work with and the price is very reasonable for a well equipped cart.

Do you still have the AlumaCar and if so would you still give it the A1 rating?
