Well, as patriotic as the dealership is - decorated with flags of all the branches, Army vet salesman, etc., it appears these are made in the red land of high tariffs.

There are more 30mph Yamaha’s out there than there are Atomic’s sold in the Villages. My neighbor took his in for service and complained that it was sluggish going up hills. They gave it back to him, now it goes 30. The only time I would pass someone is if they are going 10-15mph.

We bought one a year ago mainly for me because I had trouble using the Yamaha gas pedal with my arthritic right knee. I also wanted the AC. We both love it, and it’s mostly the only cart we use during summer months. AC is great! Seats aren’t as comfy as our upgraded Yamaha bucket seats, so we don’t use it for long distances, but for local driving down here in the south, or trips as far as LSL it’s great. If anyone is being tailgated by a cool kart blame the driver, not the cart. We are passed far more by Yamaha gas carts than any other kind when we’re out and about even though our cool cart can go 27 mph.

Yep. There's nothing better than cruising along at 25 mph in a death trap next to 18 wheelers going 45+, all the time getting tailgated, honked at and receiving a one finger salute. Where can I sign up????

Please don't get ahead of me and behind a 10 mph cart that you won't pass, unless there is enough room for me to pass both of you.

So, the complaint is that YOUR illegal cart is LESS illegal than THEIR illegal cart?????

Probably a good question to ask. I just looked it up that they are made or at least assembled in North Dakota. Hopefully for the Atomic owners they will stay in business. Finding the parts when the air conditioning, heater, power window and door locks etc. start to fail and they will in time, there will not be an issue getting parts and people to work on them.
Another unknown is how will Atomic carts do in the resale market. We know that Yamaha carts do a great job holding their value.

Well, they do seem to have been present and available in The Villages for at least 5 years - maybe longer, so that's promising.

Default What about parts

This is the only dealership in the world. What if something happens to it? Where do I get parts and service? I love the concept and the cart. But service scares me.

What about someone opening up a golf cart accessory store where they could also make modifications to all the types of golf carts that are out there?
