Default Rain-X on Cart Windshields?

Is it safe to use a Rain-X product on golf cart windshields? What is the best product to keep windshields clean?

Are products OK for plexiglass windshields on carts or just glass windshields on cars?

If you go to the rainx website,
Rain-X(R) Plastic Water Repellent - Rain-X

they have a product for PLASTIC windshields, I would use that.

Have used spray cans of yellow lemon pledge on all of my plexiglass aircraft windows and now my golf cart plexiglass windows. Yes - use only micro fiber cloth, no paper!

Same use here for years. No scratches and acts like rain-x for shedding water.

The Yamaha Dealer in Ocala recommended lemon pledge on all plastic parts of your golf cart except steering wheel (safety issue)

I used it on the body of the cart including black trim, the windshield , the dash and to decal tires. It works and it holds up. Never would have believed it
If anyone knows of a downside please share
