Angry Crown View cart problem with air conditioning

Crown Golf Carts on Rt44 is now closed. I have had problems with the air conditioner since I bought the cart. It ranged from fuse issues, schrader valve (twice), expansion valve and freon leaks (twice). They are now closed and left no forwarding adress. The cart is usless during summer without the air conditioner. As of 5/29/24 I have not been able to find a tech to affect a repair. Anyone have any info?

First of all, so sorry that you are having to go through this. This is just another warning to everyone who considers buying these off brand golf carts. I have a feeling that most of these off-brand carts will go by the way of the YUGO.
If you purchase one of the big three cart manufacturers, Yamaha, EZGO and Club you will always be able to get service and parts will be available.

Google maps lists 3 places for crown golf carts, you can try them.

I have an Elite which is very similar to the Crown. I was just about to call them for my annual service checkup. While I have had no issues with my cart for the six years of ownership, I am sad to hear of their closing.

I never turned on the air conditioner because I installed insulation on my inside roof which seemed to reduce the heat coming off the roof by 90%. So, I am OK in this summer heat.

I would add Evolution to the list. We now have 2 reputable dealers in the area (Botero Golf Carts of Ocala and Hidden Creek Golf Carts). Botero has multiple locations in 4 different states and has been selling Evolution exclusively since 2016, so they know and understand the carts and will be around for a long time.

(Unlike The Villages Discount Golf Cars who left customers high and dry when they decided to stop selling Evolution because the profit margin wasn't high enough.)
