Geesh, deep cycle lead-acid batteries have become stupid expensive.

Each lead-acid battery manufacture has slightly different charge profiles. What was the original equipment battery? Voltage?

It is usually best to stick with OEM battery but half price is probably worth the change.

Yes, prices are now approaching lithium batteries. I just replaced 4 large 200ah AGM batteries in my home backup system. $350 each delivered, made in Vietnam. The USA made equivalent was priced at $700 each. The price gap between lead acid and lithium is shrinking.

There's a place called Fairway in Wildwood. Good battery prices. Their website should not be hard to find.

Village Kart Aide sold me an Interstate battery a few weeks ago when I was broken down at Spanish Springs! They arrived in 15 minutes, took 10 minutes to replace it and I was on my way!

As long as they are deep cycle lead acid batteries. I would compare duty cycles which based on number of plates how long cycle lasts. At 1/2 price I would imagine duty cycles are considerably less? IMO another way to tell is weight of lead acid battery. IMO More weight means more plates longer cycles.
