Default Golf Cart Speedodometer

Mine just fell apart and I'd like to find someone who sells and installs them.

I don't know if you have the large one or the small one. The small one is just bicycle speedometers. Should be about to get the name off it and go to eBay a no get one for 15 bucks or so. Replace what's broke reprogram it and you should be good to go. Batteries in these last about 4 years and when they go dead you loose your mileage. You start a zero miles.

If you have a power outlet you can use an inexpensive GPS. I mount mine up under the canopy where it is not easily seen by someone outside the cart.

He might want more information than that--for instance, mileage since last fill-up or battery charge.

There's a guy that advertises in the Daily Sun on Mondays that installed speedometers for $85. His number is 352-643-0045. He lives in TV and installs them on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays (his non-golfing days). I've been meaning to get him to install one on mine mostly just for the odometer. I'd like to know how many miles a year I will be putting on it (just moved here in February and bought a new one then with no speedometer). If I find a day that I'm not busy on (and when is that here?) I'll have him install it and try to remember to report back on the experience.

I generally use the odometer trip set daily so I know how many miles I've gone.

I'd prefer not to get stuck on the other side of the golf cart bridge.
