I'm a fellow Villages and have installed speedometers on many golf carts here in The Villages. See my Ad at https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...f-carts-32576/

If you search talkofthevillages.com for "Bob Sain" you'll see that I've received many recommendations by satisfied customers.

I don't install speedometers, but I do repair many as I've seen the quality of the install to be less than desired. A bicycle speedometer connected with speaker wire and the magnet zipped tied, is not my idea of a good install. Its these I have to repair in a short period of time when they fail. The old adage, "you get what you pay for" really comes into play often in life.

You are absulutely right "You get what you pay for" (SOMETIMES) There is also the expression "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" Some four years ago my neighbor wanted a speedometer for his golf cart, another freind of ours put him in touch with this guy that claimed he was the best expert on speedometers in The Villages and would do a Perfect job. well about $150 later my neighbor had his speedometer. Meanwhile, I had a fellow named Bob Sain introduced to me as a fellow villager that installs speedometers. He did mine for half the price of my neighbors and some 16,000 miles later my speedometer is still working perfectly while my neighbor had so many problems with his so called experts very expensive job that he had to call Bob Sain to take it out and put in a new one that has worked perfectly for over two years. So much for"You get what you pay for"
HEY BOB SAIN, if you ever read this "THANKS"
