I watched a video on the process to use these products. There are three different products to use the system. It takes quite a lot of work but, in the video, it looks like it was very well worth the time and effort.

There are 3 different formulas! Number 1 is very fine almost a polish. Then 2 and 3 are coarser in that order. |

I told my husband not to use paper towels to clean the windshield of our golfcart. What did he do? Used paper towels. Not sure what products he tried to correct the problem, but we ended up having to get a new windshield. Guys, listen to your wives.

Several years ago I had to replace my windshield. The Villages cart store sold me a windshield with a flaw is it for $100.00 installed. The flaw was so small it could hardly be seen.

I think the rag did the scratching. I replaced my fold in half windshield with one that vented at the bottom to get ride of the split that was right in my wife's vision. I would ask village Golf cart store if they have some that were replaced. Beings they are used (removed From Cart and not out of the box) they should be at least 1/3 to half off? I sold my for 1/2 cost of new one which offset the price of the new windshield. Last time I look the standard fold in half one online was 169. or so couple years ago.

For all the work and expense that you are probably going to go through, it might be easier and less expensive to just buy a new windshield. I bout one for my Club Car and it was around $100.
I'll just replace it every couple of years.

Before trying any of the suggestions ask if they have tried it. If not...don't bother as it may make it worse.

I have tried most of them in the past, and it will make it worse. Scratch removal products are ineffective for most applications and some are just bogus, especially for clear, see-through plastic or glass. Buy a new windshield and be happy.

Scratches can come out, its all about product and application.
I agree however, that for some its just simpler to replace. |

I use whiting tooth paste to rub out scratches out of my golf cart windshield and it worked very well.

Remember to use vertical motions when cleaning your windshield. The eye will detect horizontal lines easier than vertical ones.

Take it from a long term boater and golf cart owner, 210 polish & scratch remover works best.

Have you tried this on golf cart windshields? Golf cart windshields are nowhere near the quality plastic that boat windshields are. Again. it's an easy and relatively cheap fix. $100 every couple of years for a new one. Try buggiesunlimited.com
