Default Suggested Cart Repair People or Shops - Home Service

I've done a site search, but can't seem to find a thread where people recommend (or warn against) those who do cart repairs.

I would prefer it done at my house and I've heard that there are a couple of mobile trucks that will do most things at your home (new brake pads, bushings, etc.), but I don't have any specific info or company names.

I just finished changing my front shocks and all the bushings (16 total) in the suspension, but it turned into a lot more hassle (about 6 hours total) than I anticipated so am thinking the next time I need work done I will just pay someone.

Can anyone recommend a good cart mechanic who will come to your home?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have the number handy, but if you do a search for Willie Wilcoxon, you'll find many happy customers. Great guy, really knows his stuff, fair prices.

Excellent!

Two different people with happy customers is perfect (competition is good).

What isn't so good, is my body this morning.

After 6 hours of laying on the garage floor (even with a yoga mat), getting back up and down every time I needed another tool, fighting a rear brake hub (one came off easily) to check pads and clean out brake dust...has left me wondering if playing golf this morning is such a good idea after all.

Thank y'all again.

Given a choice...playing golf is a good idea, working on your cart is a bad idea...my opinion.

Todd has suggested ways I could save money when updating my Yesteryear cart. He is very honest as Boogie said.

For the last 2 years we've called Scott at Titan Golf, 352-348-7381. In addition to repairs and service calls at our home, he also rents carts and sells used ones. For more difficult jobs, he hauls it to his shop for no additional charge. Real nice guy, honest and fair pricing.

I'm really curious about this suggestion on you "Updating " your Yesterday Cart. I happen to be a H.G. Wells fan and " The Time Machine " happens to be one of my favorite's..So with that in mind..

Enlighten all of us here on TOTV, how is Todd going to update your " Yesteryear Cart...to " Today's Year "..or 2016.. and of course Save you $$$ Money , Seat Belts..New Paint.. of course do not count, both are Not Considered " Up-Dating "..Over to You or Todd.. We all wait for for the " Up-Date " with the Before and After Photo's .
