Well it all depends. I have electric and I charge once a week. I have the watering kit installed on my batteries so watering them once a month is very easy. I do not golf so my car is only used on local trips. For longer distances I see no reason to use a cart when I have a new air conditioned car. The small amount of extra gas I use is not significant enough to be a factor in my decission. I have been in both and I like the electric because it is quiet and does not smell. I really dislike the smell of gasoline. If I were not able to drive a car safely and had frequent need to use my cart every day for longer trips, I would consider a gas cart but that does not mean I would like it.

Another vote for electric. 60 mile range, no gas fumes and noise to bother other peeps. A watering kit makes filling the batteries easy peasy!
Tony, how come we don't have a smilie for a golf cart?

OK, here is the straight poop. If you will have only one golf cart and plan to be a serious user, nothing but gas will do. If you will have 2 make one electric if you wish. If you will have only one and dint plan to use it a whole lot then I guess an electric will do. This is logic from the experts.
