Default Larger Tires/Rims - Functional or Cosmetic??

do larger tires give a smoother ride? give a bit of increased speed?
lift the cart so it's easier for entry?

or is it just for the looks?
input welcome, thanks

larger Wheels will give you increased speed with some loss of torque

Easier entry if you're tall. When you're short, it gets tedious climbing up. Had a Par Car with 13 inch wheels...was a great cart, but the constant climbing into the cart got to be achy for me. We're awaiting our Polaris which has 10 inch high profile tires. It sits a couple of inches lower than our Par Car did.
