Bolt battery is what TVGC will carry for the new Madjax Ascent they recently started selling.

I know Trojan has been in business for a long time, but it seems they only entered the lithium battery business recently and are using Asian products to build their batteries.

I looked up Battery Boys; they list higher prices for their batteries than what's online.

Trojan 105ah One Pack is $3,798.50 on their website.

Online with other companies, it is $2709.99, same battery. It seems they have marked up their battery at $1000 per unit, plus installation fee.

Yes, it looks like all 105ah batteries come in one solid unit, and replace all the single batteries.

Bolt has a nice battery, but it's a little too pricey for me. I'm on the fence with E-Technologies Lab and Skunk Works. I am contacting both today for additional information. The current info on both is that Skunk Works is a new company growing fast, and E-Technologies moved its company from Connecticut to Venice, FL, a few years ago.

They are made under ISO-9001 standards in their factory in California and are certified to UL safety standards.

If your contacting skunk works directly, you will probably be talking with the owner Justin Emm. He is very involved with the aftermarket golf cart community, down to earth, very helpful even if you're not buying from him. I am having some problems with my Roy Pow, and he has been helping me with it. Chances are I'm going to buy another and it WILL be a skunk works

All lithium battery parts are made in China, whether assembled here or not. American made is American assembled, just like your Ford vehicle. So, with Chinese components, price do fluctuate, based upon shipping rates, tariffs, etc.

Secondarily, you aren't sure where the cheaper price per originates from, sales margin or components, or tariff avoidance shipping.. . You are assuming that all batteries are identical, just with different prices. That may or may not be a good assumption. Sometimes it means that you get for what you paid.

One point about the BOLT batteries, they are hard to wake up from sleeping. Also, we installed a 160 aHr battery, with all new components, plus a new transformer for the 12 v accessories. . Yes, we love the LiFePO battery, especially, just being able to unplug it while we are away and then return to find the battery still fully charged ready to go. Yes, it was worth it, yes it cost slightly North of $4K, for all parts and installation. .

good luck to us

Well, I finally pulled the trigger. I ordered an E-Tech Series 48V 105AH Battery Kit from E-Technologies Lab out of Venice. I was impressed by the two conversations I had with their office. They are giving me a free installation in a few weeks. The kit comes with the battery, charger, plug port, lcd, reducer, and app, at a good price.

I will try to post pictures of the installation when they arrive and after, if I can figure out how to post pictures here, lol. I want to thank everyone for their input and for buying this battery.

The whole kit with the free installation costs $1474.90, but was on sale for $1353.22 + tax.
