Exactly why do people here feel the need to defend what they have. Golf cars aren't political.

I just paid $2736 for 18 cells (3.2 volt). Granted it was solar, 280ah. 14 kw total.

I also, have a DS
I want to go with a company called Big Battery,
They have 48v drop in batteries the same dimension of the FLA 8volts that are in it now.
I would like logistics help on the conversion if there's a company that provides that service.

Wow, I only paid $2000 for an electric cart(like new) that I got from an estate sale that was owned by a snowbird. My trojan batteries are seven years old but getting weaker. I asked a cart repair man that was in the neighborhood, how much it would cost to replace the batteries and he gave me a quote of approx. $1100 installed. Lithium really is great but right now, it is very expensive. Hopefully, the cost of lithium batteries will decrease in our near future. The wife likes the electric, but I would trade it for a gas fueled cart without hesitation.

There are always going to be those who feel the need to derail a thread because someone is happy about something. That's what we have the ignore feature for.
