Got our 2nd E-Z-GO in late June. We were getting over 40 miles, with some to spare, on a charge until early October when we started having trouble maintaining a charge. Service came out, found that battery #3 was bad and replaced it. Everything was fine until a week or so ago when the cart again stopped holding a charge. This time they took the cart in and worked on it for three days. End result was a new solenoid and re-wiring.

AGC told us that E-Z-GO says they are aware of a problem with batteries and were following our issue. They have documented the battery tests after the repair work, so we will see how it goes from here.

Oh, man, clekr! Is that the same really nice cart we used when we played Havana last Feb? That was a nice cart! Sorry to hear you've had problems with it. I'm off to read your posts in the golf cart discussion!

same cart! great except for the range problems. it seems to be fixed now but I really haven't used it since last repair due to fear of getting stuck some place.

I read your posts in the cart forum. It is unfortunte you can't depend on it. Had a car like that once. Loved it, but it let me down several times. Mechanic couldn't seem to fix it. Had to let it go. Sucks.

To breathe life back into this, if anyone cares, I have been taking care of a fleet of 60 early RXVs for the last two years.

They have been super problematic.

What ever happened to that cart fixer guy...that guy was really knowledgeable and hasn't been around in a while? He apparently has been banned from this board (couldn't type his name correctly) so sorry I asked.
