Default Self canceling turn signals on Yamaha golf cart

Looking for help finding a kit to DIY self canceling turn signals on a newer Yamaha golf cart.
I have a friend that recently bought a 2021 Yamaha golf cart that has turn signals that cancel just like a car, when you turn the steering wheel. A mechanical function vs a timer style.
Photo attached but I can not find any name or model number on the switch mechanism.
There looks like a collar that attaches just behind the steering wheel which makes it cancel from the movement of the steering wheel.
Does anyone know about this kit or where to get one?
I want to install this on my 2018 yamaha

Thanks

I think this is the product you are referring to, but he may just sell his product to The Villages Golf cart only, I'm not sure.

The unit is called a INTELLICART

I was talking with a non-Villages golf cart business and was surprised to learn how territorial it was. According to him (may or may not be true) he has a difficult time getting parts from Yamaha because The Villages Golf Cars (TVGC) is the local factory-authorized store and can discourage Yamaha from selling to other businesses in the area.

Then I was looking at the speedometer on the cart I purchased from TVGC. From everything I can find, it appears to be available only at TVGC.

The link above to the canceling turn signal indicates that it too is available only through TVGC.

I wonder if it's the same situation everywhere or just in areas with an 800-pound gorilla.

There are several possible problems with what you are trying to do, here is what I have found.
1. The wiring harness may greatly limit the possible turn signal alternatives. For example RHOX wiring harness work with RHOX turn signals. Same goes for Madjax, and Yamaha, and a few other harnesses.
2. Signal Dynamics makes Motorcycle turn signal modules that can typically be installed on almost any wiring harness, however you will spend time wire tracing and splicing. These run $100 to $150 as I recall.
3. Kits are available around $300 to $500 that include the headlights to taillights, turn signal switch and electronics module, but installation can be a pain.
4. I have seen and actually replaced one of the mechanically operated turn signal switches, HOWEVER these require a possible custom piece that mounts on the steering shaft and I have no idea how or where to get this.

I hope this helps, and feel free to send me a PM so we can discuss further over the phone.

I installed a sona alert (beeper) available on Amazon. Two wires that parallel the turn signal wires. It's not automatic, but you know when the signal is on.

I had a custom cart made at Gordon’s Garage in LSL. Five years ago it was a $200 upgrade.
I didn’t do it…..and should have. But check with them. It might not be too expensive to have them do it

I have light on windshield frame that blinks when turn signals are on, that tells my brain to turn off turn signal. That blinking light annoying to me if I forget to turn it off immediately.

We have a 2010 that runs just fine. I disconnected the turn signal beeper and drove around with my turn signals on for a month just like all the other idiots out there. Then, hooked it back up. Cheapest and probably most reliable option.

The beeper options consists of 2 diodes and a sonalert beeper. It has 3 connections, common ground and a connection to the right and left front turn signal lights. Typically all connections can be made in the dash and if the golf cart is equipped with auxiliary LED turn signals the yellow wires are usually the turn signal wires.
