Default Striker speedometer

Have you had any instances of a 2013 Yamaha gas golf cart (over 1 year old) Striker speedometer resets itself when key is turned on and red and yellow lights come on momentarily then seems to work ok until the cart shuts off and then restarted. I have disconnected power to the Striker for fear of a short circut.

On the back of the Striker there is a nickle size battery, should be changed one a year.
Hope that is your only problem.
Remove the body from the stand to replace.

I just replaced my battery in my Stryker Speedometer in my 2012 Yamaha Golfcart awhile ago because it was resetting. New battery fixed the problem.

When you change out batteries, does the unit retain stored info?
