Default Purchase of Golf Cart

Can I ask where you purchased from? I am moving to TV in May. I received one quote from TV Golf Carts. 2 peron Freedom RXV Elite
2025 ezgo 4.2 Lithium. Added about 2k in accessories. With tax $22,125. Thoughts on this price? Would love an alternative. Thank you!

You might start with one golf cart, and drive it for a year or so. Then order the second if you decide you need it. Your thoughts change quite a bit your first year living here. There’s always a lot of “I wish I would have……”

Turning on the heated vest is truly addictive. I would light it up all the way up to 70 degrees.

I already own all sorts of RAM Mounts, BMW power outlets and a variety of farkles from my decades of BMW GS riding. Might as well make use of what I already own to make carting even more fun.

I have a scuba diving type rubberized vest that I can use for riding a bicycle or motorcycle. It blocks the wind and is warm and requires no plug in. I use it for swimming on cold days also. And i have a scuba diving rubberized cap for really cold days.

Hey, for a "true" perspective of motorcyclists read "Learnings by Peter Egan. See what they did (60"s) in the old days. Enjoy if you do.

Or Hell's Angel's by Hunter S. Thompson, from 1967.

Or The Life & Times of Sonny Barger, by Sonny himself, for a more contemporary view.

As long as you have sunbrellas zipped up on the sides, you should be able to drive in 40-50 degree weather without more than a hoodie/sweater.

This even when I was riding in subfreezing temperatures. Keep your core warm and your body stays warm.

The vest uses only 45 watts, the jacket 60 watts.

Anyone else tried this?
Old technology-my vest battery lasts 18 hrs, charges, my Bluetooth speaker and phone and is only the size of a pack of smokes!
Not worth the investment to install, sell it up north!

Good option. I certainly don’t need the long day heating a plug-in offers. A battery vest or jacket would be perfect.
