I was researching golf carts with AC (I know about the Atomic) and saw that the 2026 Wink Mark 3 is available for test drives at VIP Cool Carts in Wildwood. VIP Cool Carts | air conditioned golf cart | 4707 CR 156 Unit 403 Wildwood, FL 34785 Has anyone actually taken it for a spin? It's technically a LSV but can be driven on the golf cart paths at 20mph. I suspect being a 4 seater fully enclosed that looks like a small car, you will get a lot of people telling you to get on the real road.

Regardless of IF it can be driven at 20 mph, it’s still classified as an LSV by insurance so you may incur more cost for insuring it.

You would have to get it insured and registered, and have a valid Florida driver's license. You would not be allowed to drive it on any road with a speed limit higher than 35mph - AND, when you do drive it on a road with a 35mph limit, you're likely to get yelled at, beeped at, threatened, sworn at, and potentially become a road-rage victim because your vehicle isn't capable of going faster than 25mph. And you're not allowed to drive it 25mph on the MMP, so there seems to be no real point in owning one of these, IMO. Personally - I think you're better off just having a golf cart, and if you want a mini-car maybe get an actual Mini. |

The Wink is an EV car. Closer in comparison to a Chevy Bolt or Nissan Leaf. It is NOT a golf cart.

Yes, especially from local law enforcement.

The Mark 3 is not a car, it's an LSV. Top speed is 25mph.

I'm skeptical with any claims an LSV will do top speed of 25mph when my Yamaha Drive2 with a quoted top speed of 20mph actually does 28mph. |

A LSV does not have to be registered and plated…it can act as a regular cart with max legal speed of 20 mph.

If you want a Golf Cart ... why not buy a "golf cart"?
If you want an automobile ... why not buy an automobile? I get scooters. I even get electric bikes. I don't understand "pretend cars" on the MMP's. What's the point? & I surely don't understand "pretend cars" on a golf course. it's like a video game or virtual golf. |

The people who own VIP Cool Carts are the nicest people you can meet. I have a LSV and unless you have driven one you would not understand how nice they are. Getting caught in The weather, no problem, finding parking much easier, no bugs in love bug season, hair doesn’t get messed up, it’s cool! And or warm in winter….like I said unless you have driven one or own one you may not get it. Obviously I love mine and have had it for 3 years now!! Love it.

In my opinion, legal and regulatory considerations aside, the MMP is intended for golf carts. If one desires an enclosed, air conditioned, 5 seat vehicle why wouldn’t one just drive their car?

So it's like driving my car, but slower, noisier, less room, less storage capacity, less people capacity, less stability ... but it's easier to park? |

Like I said unless you have one you would not get it, we could go on and on but seriously there are much more important things to do than not agree about a simple transportation opinion. Have a blessed day ya all!

Yes, and can drive on the multi-modal paths.
