It would seem that it does not prevent someone from removing and replacing the wheel of the cart. Perhaps I am wrong, but the real Denver Boots lock over the lug nuts. Does not take long to remove and replace a wheel.

You could use locking lug nuts also, but these are not fool proof.
If a thief wants something they will get it.
However given the choice of a cart with no boot and another next to it, with nothing, which do you think they will go for?

You can get one that covers up the lug nuts. ( Just Google golf cart anti thief device)But, the cost is in the 100 to 200 dollar range.
If I'm going to spend that much I would just get real time GPS. I think If Some one would see somebody taking wheel off, putting another on one, hot Wiring the cart, would create suspicion? Plus the amount of time it takes to defeat it is the deturent. I'm looking for. Usually quick get away in the right area with easy system of overcome what the thief looking for. I'm thing anything the time consuming a plus?

Any way this horse about beat to death? I just thought this was cheap theft deturent that may cause thief to pass to easier pigeon. We see when I get it how much hassle it is to use?
