Yamaha vs EZ Go gas
Would appreciate comments and concerns about which cart would be a better choice. First time buyer. I do want to go with gas cart but have had differing opinions about the two makes listed. Sounds to me that either would be a good choice and it just comes down to personal preferences and experiences. Of course repair histories and service is a important factor in purchasing.
Look forward to responses, DB |

Yamaha
I am waiting for my coffee to make it's way to my eager hands, but all my research kept leading me to the Yamaha. I just arrived here a few days ago and haven't found my notebooks yet. SIGH ( sometimes I am a little low-tech)

After all is said and done, I'd suspect you'll find that your decision will come down to your own personal preference. They're both good brands, get the job done, well built, reliable, etc. Look at the features, how they're laid out, and what things flip your switch - one brand versus the other. clekr makes a good point as well - something to consider. Test drive both and see for yourself which you like the best. Then buy and enjoy!!

I have no idea which is best, but is there a reason you did not include Club Car in your choices? My wife and I will be purchasing a golf cart withing a couple of months, so I'll keep my eye on this thread. I don't have any opinion about any of the choices, but I do know the people at The Villages Golf Cart shop at LSL are very helpful. We were there a few weeks ago and the salesman let us drive two and had no idea who we were, but was very friendly and nice. Both of them were Yamahas. Have not driven any others, so do not have anything to compare with.

I would go with the EZGO. Get the under seat sound reducer and the tailpipe extention..very cheap expense...well worth it .
The EZGO runs greats, quiet and very little smell' good luck |

It's for sale. Need one? I don't plan to do any mowing when I get to TV. Sold the snow blower already and the snow shovel.

This was last February. Now you know the reason we're moving to TV.

O.K. - now I'm suicidal. Thanks for the reminder of what we get to look forward to in just a few months.................
Sandy and I both detest the winters here - but we get away to TV for those few short stints now and then! Bill |
