My niece told me about this group and I have watched videos of their rescues on YouTube. What a sad situation, not only in the Everglades area but all over as well. Animal abuse and abandonment is out of control. I'll never understand cruelty like this - I guess no one would. Their website is:

I praise this group for what they do, as well as all the other animal welfare groups.

That is totally sad. I've never understood it either. It's only hearing about groups like this that partially eases the hurt knowing at least some animals may have a chance.
