I also volunteer at All Creatures Sanctuary in Ocklawaha; best thing I've done since moving to The Villages. Tish does wonders making a home for domestic and farm animals as well as all types of wildlife. Any help or donation would be appreciated. I used to give to many animal organizations, but now I believe giving to local organizations is best.

Thanks to everyone that volunteers and gives money to our most vulnerable creatures, you have good hearts. It's nice to hear all the unique ways of helping out.

I take dog food, cat food, towels, blankets, etc., to whatever shelter I'm close to. And also some Vets collect on behalf of shelters. That way the benefit goes to the animals and not the administration.
