They were bred as a lapdog and presented to King Charles 1 as a gift, hence the name Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

As a member of this new club, I wanted to mention that it seems to have grown quickly. The President, Kimberly has organized many events and has provided great communication and done a lot of hard work to get this club going. Looking forward to moving to TV full time to get involved.

Hoping to join in November when we get back. I got my Ruby in December and was hoping to join before we left, had asked for info and didn't receive any. Looking forward to it next trip down...I do have a question, does the club have a Facebook page?
