Default Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

In Mexican tradition Dia de los Muertos is a sacred time of remembrance when the veil between the living and the departed, grows thin allowing loved ones to return for a visit.

While the most widely celebrated days are November 1 and 2nd, some traditions extend observance across several nights, with different days dedicating to welcoming and remembering different souls. Starting on October 27, believed by some to be the day our beloved pets find their way home.

The dogs who greeted us at the door, the cats who curled up beside us. Little souls who loved us without conditions and left paw prints on our hearts. Honor memories of the companions who walked beside you for a little while, but remain in our hearts forever.

According to this tradition, the souls of our beloved pets are among the first to cross over the bridge, arriving a few days, ahead of human spirits to visit homes and families who loved them so dearly. Guided by the bright scent of Marigold’s they return to remind us, that love never truly leaves.

Though they no longer walking by our side, paw prints remain forever on our heart.
Remember their memories, their endless loyalty and unconditional love they brought into your lives.
For every wagging tail, every comforting purr, every joyful greeting at the door, and every goodbye that left the ache in our hearts …………
your pets are always loved, are always missed, and never be forgotten.

May all beloved pets who have crossed over, find their way home this week, giving you a peaceful memory.

We just recently lost our cat who gave us joy for 12-1/2 years. Thank you for sharing a beautiful message.
