You may want to consider not traveling in Europe if you have that much trouble eating with dogs. They are allowed "in" the restaurants in many countries and usually are served first! I LOVE that about Europe!

OK I apologize, I looked it up and you are right In many places dogs are served first.......looks like mostly MEDIUM RARE.......

I am allergic to all pet hair and have difficulty swallowing when I am around them. (I am otherwise healthy) What happens when I am eating my dinner outdoors with a dog next to me? More and more restaurants are allowing pets on their outside terraces and I for one love it. Today I saw a beautiful Bichon at Panera's in Market Square and no one seemed to mind. :doggie
