How I hate posts like this. "Oh, can someone please take my sweet little baby". If he's your baby, why are you getting rid of him. And, if it's because you can no longer care for him, why are you SELLING him. A very suspicious first post.

There's no need to be rude sir. I put this post up for my mother with her information. She cannot handle two Chihuahua's. And I know she is not going to just hand her baby over to anyone. And I wrote this post for her. She has had a few responses to this post. She's a great mother, and she's my mother. Shes so sad she has to let one go,and I told her,The folks in the villages take great care of their dogs, and I know someone will love Pee wee and give him all the care in the world. We are a very caring family. This post should not be suspicious in any way. Im just trying to be a good daughter, and help my mother out, as she is getting older and can only handle so much. She did not want him to go to any shelters. So please, dont judge a book by its cover. She does have papers on him. God Bless

Re-homing fees are not the same as selling, because you can get more money for chihuahuas any day. He's a beautiful dog. And I say this with all respect.but normally if your willing to pay for a dog, your going to take care of it.

You are so spot on, Barry. There are a lot of red flags in this post. "I already have another little one," but the first little one is three years old? Tell the truth about why you're really wanting to get rid of this one.

I have been once bitten twice shy on a "rehomed" dog, that some self-absorbed relative gave to us without telling us it was biting them and their toddler, knowing full well that we had a 13-month-old and a 5-year-old. I know how to read between the lines now.

At least ours was free.

This is why I wanted to post him on here. I told her all owners in the villages care for their pets like its their children. Everyone has to have a fist post on here sometime. I respect all of your comments, but I would rather him go to someone in the villages then anywhere else in ocala, and thats a compliment for the villages community. If you have any issues with my postings, you can always report them.

I understand that feeling up until the $150 "rehoming" fee. If you seriously, altruistically want to find a good home for this dog, contact a chihuahua rescue group and donate the dog. They will thoroughly vet the dog's personality, and vet anyone who's interested in giving the dog a home, and find the right fit in a way you could never do here on TOTV. You owe the dog a good home, preferably at no charge.

oh no,hes a sweet heart. He has never bitten anyone. re-homing fees are good because if someone is willing to pay for a dog, they will take care of it. a few years ago,I had someone write me because I was giving away puppies, and they told me to re-home them because some people will take dogs just because they are free,or try to fight them, and so on.That scares me. And I understand everyones comments,I just didnt think there would be some many negative comments. My moms other dog is the same age. They get along great. And there is no hurry or push on anyone. anyone interested can just meet him and they will see how he. He is great with my children. He is not viscous at all.

I also agree with Barry. Linda is basically selling a this dog and making it sound like someone will get a "deal". What good are the registration papers? They would only benefit a breeder. The animal shelters are full of purebred Chihuahuas that can be adopted for less than what you are "selling" this one for yet most are put down because they are not adopted.

I agree with BamaGirl. The best thing for unwanted dogs, especially purebreds, is a breed-specific rescue group. the argument from a private owner that someone will take better care of a dog if they have to pay for them is specious. Rescue groups will charge a fee and make sure that the dog has a proper home better than a private owner could, any day. The "rehoming" fee just sounds like the dog's owner is trying to recoup some of her costs.

I will not let her take him to a shelter. Shelters kill. We know someone who use to work in one,and we are not doing that. If it was a selling price,it would be more than $150. He is a pure breed Chihuahua.
