Shes so sad she has to let one go,and I told her,The folks in the villages take great care of their dogs, and I know someone will love Pee wee and give him all the care in the world. We are a very caring family. This post should not be suspicious in any way. Im just trying to be a good daughter, and help my mother out, as she is getting older and can only handle so much. She did not want him to go to any shelters. So please, dont judge a book by its cover. She does have papers on him. God Bless
So how about adopting Pee-Wee out to one of The Villagers with NO re-homing fee? Or the Rescue link in my last post?

Thanks.

Rescue groups are not shelters. They do not kill. Actually, most shelters do not kill anymore. Give up the money and do the right thing for the dog. If you really want a good home for him, money shouldn't be an issue.

We are doing it so we know who ever gets him can afford him,and that he will be taken to the vet if needed and that no one will take him,and then sell him to someone else. Its for the dogs protection. You should always charge a re-homing fee for your pets protection.

That's baloney, IMO. If that's the case, charge $1000 for him. Our dog cost $1000 six years ago. Anyone can come up with $150. Doesn't mean they'll take him to a vet. It sounds like you're trying to recoup costs. You have better options that are much better for finding the dog a good home.

To whom ever is interested in Pee Wee,just let us know. We are not trying to make money. Surely you can understand if you had to re-home your pet,for their protection no matter what, always charge a fee. This is not to sound like a great "deal" because he is worth way more than that and some. My mom is sick. She has a tumor. That's why she is here from up state, I am am taking care of her the best I can. I did not think it was anyones business to explain about why she is doing this being its her business. But I don't want anyone thinking she is heartless being that doing this breaks her heart. I thought everyone would be very sweet and considerate. Guess I was wrong.

When I researched it,they said $150 for him. she was not sure, she has never done this before and never thought she would need to. Ill talk to her about what you said. we dont want him just going anywhere. Thats our biggest concern..

Really, we're concerned about the dog. This is not the place to find a good home for the dog, because you have no idea who you're giving it to. It's a bad idea. A chihuahua rescue group is the best place, and they can assure your mother that the dog will get a good home. She will rest easy. I guess I don't understand why you can't see this as a good solution.

Good luck to you, and prayers for your mom's health.

Isn't there a rescue group for almost all breeds now? I think that would be the best thing to consider. We went thru american lab rescue for our dog and they treated us like we were adopting a child.

Im getting grilled by everyone on here.Everyone is asking why why why, what's wrong with your pet. Nothing is wrong with him and I should not have to explain the reason( but I did because everyone is thinking there is something wrong with him),and the villages certainly is not the entire world. If your interested, great,if not, then why comment? Your picking on me because this is my first post.Everyone starts somewhere. All of you did. I did not realize my first post would be a big debate. I feel bad for anyone who does post on here, because you all will run them off. Ive been very nice to you all,and answered your questions even though you have been rude and mean. And I told my mom that everyone in the villages was really nice because I use to work in the villages. Not once have I asked any of you whether you personally was interested. I asked anyone interested, let me know. If your not wanting information, then thats fine. But I thought this was the perfect place to post him. However,I know that not everyone in the villages is like this..

We're not picking on you because it's your first post. I didn't even realize it was your first post because I never looked. We're picking on you because you want to sell a dog for $150 to someone you couldn't possibly know anything about, when there is a much better option for the dog.

You've answered questions, but not the crucial one. Why not contact a rescue group who is experienced in finding dogs good homes. What do you want more, the $150 or a good home for your dog? That is the question people are trying to get an answer to.

We dog lovers have a right to stand up for what is best for a dog. So that's why we're commenting.

Just be careful with who answers your posts if you get private messages. Do some research about the person who is sending the private messages. We got a chihuahua/terrier mix from Max's Pet Connection about two months ago and they charged a donation fee for the shots and the like. We did not know what the personality of the dog would turn out to be but got a good idea by visiting with him at Pet Smart at Max's Pet Connection usual Saturday 10-2 adoption event. His foster parents then did a home visit to see what kind of home the dog was getting.

Hey LindaRM, you say you have "papers"? Return him to the breeder. Most breeders (the real ones)have in their contract that if the pet does not work out for any reason they will take them. Actually, my breeders agreement states that I must consider that as the first option.
