I'm so sorry for your loss ... it hurts so bad and I know that pain ... your dachshund was beautiful ... for me the only thing to help my broken heart was to have another doxie.. save the stuff and maybe you will be able to use it later.. again, so sorry for your loss. ❤️*🩹❤️*🩹

Keep them. You may want another puppy in a couple of months!

Those of us who have known the love and companionship of a dog, also know the pain of saying goodbye to them when the time comes. It is never easy, they remain in our hearts forever. We know we will see them again and that they are no longer in pain. I’m sorry for the loss of your loved dog.

I empathize with losing a beloved dog as we've experienced the same a number of times. One never forgets a beloved pet, no matter how old we are/were, but adopting another dog is the only solution that's worked for my husband and I. There are so many dogs looking for a forever home, especially rescue dogs.

Google "Rainbow Bridge" and it may lighten your heart just a bit, to know you will see your loved one again.

Default Wait

Wait. Please wait. You look around and see your dog's things and it hurts so bad. I know that. But you know your dog would want you to find another dog who needs your love and would love to use their toys and things. Take a little more time to consider things.

Sorry for your loss! Wait a short time and adopt another rescue dog or give your dog supplies to a rescue facility.

Default Sorry for your loss

I am so sorry to hear about the loss your fur baby. My dogs are like my kids - not kidding! I love them so much. I have lost dogs over the years and it is very painful. Right now I have my two poodles. One is 14 with heart problems and my younger one is 11. Thinking about you!

My sympathies having been an animal lover all my life. I know the heartache and pain. No one can take away their memories. I had my 2 beautiful, black cats painted from a photo. The artist captured their essence PURRFECTLY! Framed beautifully, and pic hangs in my living room.

What a beautiful dog! I am so sorry for your loss. Your sweet fur ball will be happily waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge until it is time to reunite. Until then, maybe tuck those doggie items away, for now. Grieve your loss and just maybe one day your heart will guide you to another furry friend and then you could share those “tucked away” items with your new forever friend.

Sorry for your loss. It's never easy but if you keep them in your thoughts and conversations, they will live on forever. Keep the leashes and other non perishable items for now. I'm sure you'll find another furry friend (or they will find you) when your ready. There are lots of dogs out there looking for their forever home.

I'm sorry for your loss. My kitty died Saturday and I understand how you feel.

How beautiful your precious fur ball was. My heart goes out to you, I am very sorry for your loss. But your dog knew how much he or she was loved and well cared for and I hope this brings you some comfort.

I haven't read what others wrote but if you don't find a home for the dog things you want to give away check with the Humane Society in Marian County, or other rescue organizations. There used to be a rescue group (maybe still there?) that went on Saturday's to Petsmart, maybe they would appreciate these items.
