Help! Golf cart PET restraint
Our newish fur ball (9# malti-poo)gave me a horrible scare, jumped out of yesteryear cart when he recognized he was home, must find restraint to keep him safe, suggestions. Convertible top up, there is a shelf but not sure if that would be a safe solution.

Go to local pet stores, they will have a suitable harness, and if you do not have seatbelts, get these installed, and connect to the harness. I think Florida just passed a law requiring all pets to be restrained on both car and golf carts.

Google small dog car booster seat (they also work in golf carts). They sell booster seats that can either be attached to a seat belt or strapped around a seat. Some of the booster seats also come with a harness that secures the dog so he/she can’t get out of the booster seat. Not only do the seats work great, but the dog gets some elevation so it can see better and get more breeze in its face. Good luck

Make sure you have an actual harness for the dog. Don't connect anything to their collar. Our dog has a Joyride harness but she doesn't ride in a golf cart..

K9 Caddy
We got our golf cart pet restraint from https://golfcartdog.com/
Very easy to use and install - no mods to your cart. And I agree you need a good harness too |

One idea might be train your dog to follow commands, and teach the dog to doing until you give the command...just sayin'

I got a booster seat from a pet store and it’s been fantastic. My baby gets some elevation to see better and he can be restrained in. I use it in the car and golf cart.

NEVER connect tether to the collar. Very bad things will happen if the dog jumps out.

I use a Snoozer Car Seat for my pet. Attaches with your seat belt and has a tether that Attaches to your pets harness. Use in car or cart to keep them safe

Hi Tinker, I just perused all 200 new laws, I found where that law was proposed, but I can't find where it passed. I went to the trouble because I have a dog, and wanted to know.

Dog cage for golf cart
We went to Walmart and bought a nylon folding dog crate. It has screens on all sides and a zippered end door. Then bought Bungie cords and hooked it onto golf cart (ok, best on a 4-seater). Our 16lb dog loves it and better than a harness.
