I am beginning to canvas for donated items for the rescue I volunteer for. FLDR will be having another auction on Facebook and donations are greatly appreciated. They are tax deductible, as the rescue is a 501(c)3 charity. Items can be most anything that can be easily mailed to someone. So no pieces of furniture, please. Our first auction had a little bit of everything....both breed specific (dachshund) and not. Examples: jewelry, shower curtain, candle, bandanas, carrier, custom-made harness, hand towels, wallets, bank, ring holder, blankets, Christmas cards, and so much more. Obviously, the dachshund-themed things are popular, but other items did very well, too.

You can donate something you already have or some people will purchase something specifically to donate. Anything donated can be written off on your taxes because we are a 501(c)3 non-profit.

Items donated are going to be collected at one location to make it easier. The lady who runs the auction is in Ocala. So donations will need to be mailed to her.
