We are trying to locate a bichon puppy for my mother-in-law. She lost her girl, Lilly, a few weeks ago and and is inconsolable. If anyone knows of either an individual or breeder that might possibly have puppies for sale, please let me know.

I'm assuming she is a senior, and I realize you specified a puppy. However there are some super rescue dogs out there, most are already toilet trained and to walk on a leash Many times a senior has problems with toilet training a puppy, lots of messes to bend over and clean up. Just a thought. https://www.facebook.com/bichonfrise.rescueme.org

Thank you Bare for that suggestion. I agree a rescue could be just the ticket.

So sorry for the loss of Lilly, and hoping she finds a new furry friend to ease the pain. |

As mentioned a puppy is a great deal of work and all that puppy energy can be exhausting. The plus of a rescue is they are usually in foster care which enables you to get great information regarding temperament, and they are usually house trained (a big deal for seniors). Rescues come with their medical work taken care as well. It's a win, win.
