Our cat went missing on November 25th in the Village of Charlotte/Sanibel. She is 1 and a half years old and has no collar. She is a black and gray tabby with yellow eyes, around 10 lbs. Has all shots. She got out of our home when the door opened for a few minutes; she is not used to being outside. If you find her, please call us 815-520-1385. Thanks. We miss her!

Sorry sorry to hear about your cat. Please call the radio station and report her description, also check out your neighbor's garage. Cats will try to hide when frightened and an open garage door is an invitation. We've had instances when a cat was found in neighbor's garage. Also, when my cat went missing I would go out in the very early morning when it was quiet and call her name; that's how I found her. Also I did the same thing at night, just before dusk when the air is still and it's quiet. When you find her have her microchipped. Please keep us informed.

Hi Paul! Hubby works the Community Watch in Sanibel and Charlotte and will give him your number. I'll tell him to keep an eye out tomorrow.

May the kitty guardian angel watch over Dixie until she returns safely to you!

As I live and breathe, a miracle just happened! Dixie is home! We left food and water out for her by the door and I heard scratching outside. She is happy to be home but we are even happier. Thanks so much to all the pet lovers who showed concern. Don't know where she has been since Sunday, but she managed to navigate all the dangers outside. We have learned a lesson and will be very careful when opening the door. Happy days!

Fantastic. When I have to do something where the front door is open constantly, I usually keep mt cat in the lanai until the traffic is gone. Let this be a lesson. It is a jungle out there.

If Dixie winds up carring little ones, don't come here with a shotgun looking for our Copper. He DIDN'T do it!!!

Great news!!!! That's why I ask where you lived as most cats don't wonder too far from home.

It's OK she is "fixed"; no little Coppers and no little Dixies.
