Default Now I have seen everything

The other day I saw a woman walking up our street with witih a stroller, the type that a lot of villagers use to walk their small dogs. Being a dog owner and loving to see new little ones I was attracted to see what the stroller contained. To my suprise it wasn't a dog or cat. It was a huge white duck. This duck stood up as I approached the stroller and happily started quacking.

That's a cute story. To each his own....

The only time we've seen a pooch in a stroller was in South Dakota at the Crazy Horse Monument.........and again inside the building where all the Lakota Sioux Indians were selling their books and jewelry, handcrafts, dream catchers, etc.

All heads would turn when this gentleman walked around with his dog in a stroller. Never seen anything like that. Maybe the dog was injured or crippled???

Funny. Thanks for sharing that. I guess that's one way to get your duck some fresh air. Was that in The Villages? Can't say I know of many (non-farm) people with a pet duck.....let alone in a stroller.

Doesn't have anything to do with your duck story....just recalled something happened to me once. Many, many years ago there was a pick-up truck a ways ahead of me. In the bed of the pickup was this girl with the most amazing long flowing hair that was blowing in the wind. I was so jealous. Her hair was so beautiful. Then she turned sideways...it was a dog. I got a good laugh out of that one. But she did have nice hair.

At least the duck won't "foul" anyone's grass while on his walk!

I thought the restrictions said no animal pets except dogs and cats (no chickens, pigs, lambs etc.)

I think we got a few quackers on this thread. (especially me) Anyway, I was led to believe that you haven't seen everything until you've seen an elephant fly! (also known as... "Look out below!")

Oh no, I have a pig with wings sitting on my window sill above the sink - oh yes they do fly.
