Default Teddy's New Friends

I'm cutting grass and see Teddy standing over something in the driveway and appears to be barking. Squeamish about the whole thing he barks and jumps back. Closer investigation revealed a turtle about the size of my hand appears in the driveway. Every time the turtle moves Teddy jumps. I launched the turtle into the water.

Teddy was barking at something on the side deck. Mrs F walked outside to witness Teddy scurrying around and found that he'd cornered a frog about the size of a ping pong ball, went under the garden hose reel. Teddy wasn't about to leave this poor little frog alone and was brought inside.

He dug a crater in the side yard and had mud all over him. Yes we've had much rain in KY. Our yard is beautiful but our floors are a mess. And Fumar it really does take too long with a Shark to clean the floors. I wonder what Teddy will discover in TV while on a leash? Maybe I better carry a sidearm.

If you have Teddy out around the Palmer course(Riley Grove) ,you might need the firearm. We were golfing there today and a small(baby) (about 1.5-2 feet) alligator came running from a residents yard and jumped in a pond. Don't recall which hole it was.

Do not follow where the path may lead.
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Default Village Retriever

We just closed on our house in Duval. We too have a Golden - not a Doodle but Retriever. I can tell you this - Teddy will find/meet many more friends. Our Golden, Shelby loves the golfcart and riding around TV. We could not find her week before last at our home in TV and she was in the cart! We need to get a 4 seater so she can ride comfortably. I hope Shelby and Teddy can meet one day in TV. Whenever we were out and about in TV people stopped to pet Shelby. I found the people were very pet friendly.

Teddy - have fun and Shelby hopes you get to see a fish in a pond some day because they make great friends and you know how us Goldens love to get wet!

16 you may have launched the wrong animal into the water. That way you wont have to clean the floors nearly as often....

Just a thought , fumar

I revived this thread in a most light hearted way and then thought oh dear, I am not certain if Teddy is here with us anymore. Please forgive me F16 if I have been forgetful and insensitive.
