Redwitch,

It was so kind of you to be there for Dicky at this difficult and heartbreaking time.

The words from the theme song from "Golden Girls" comes to mind............

"Thankyou for being a friend" , it certainly applies.

My sincere condolences DickY- losing a beloved pet is never easy. I'm glad Redwitch was there for you- while it doesn't make it easier, having a friend there can make it a less lonely feeling.

Dicky, I am truly sad to hear of Katrina's passing. Redwitch, your kindness will be repaid somehow and somewhere.

Those of us who love our furry family understand.

Sending a big hug Dicky.

Anyone who ever lost a beloved pet feels your pain. I am very sorry for your loss. May the happy memories of Katrina comfort you. Thank you Redwitch for being there. There's nothing more important than having someone you can turn to at a time like this to get you through this difficult time.

DickY,

I am so sorry to hear about Katrina. What a wonderful life she must have had with you. I know how you feel and how much you will miss her. My Annie (named Annie because she was an orphan when she showed up at our back door at about 5 months old) is 15 years old now.

My thoughts are with you, DickY. And maybe someday, when you are ready, you will love again.

Boomer

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. Katrina was a true sweetie and doll baby. I'm sorry you don't have your woofer with you but you did the most loving thing you could do for her. We're all here for you if you need us.

Many hugs, my friend.

Dick...the best memories will last forever !!! Dogs have a way of giving us unconditional love no matter how we feel, what kind of day we had ...whether we are rich or poor....they are ALWAYS there to love. Nothing can take away the pain of losing your best friend...other than great memories.
my thoughts are with you

So sorry to hear Dick....I know it must have been such a hard thing to do since I also had to make that decision a few years ago. My thoughts are with you - Dogs give us so much unconditional love, I am glad you had so many years with her to enjoy...

I'm also glad you were not alone going through this........
