Default Adopted-tiny black storm drain kitten

Adopted by my step daughter-

See post about stray cat in drain:
Kitten stuck down in water drain for approx. 10 days that we know of. Finally got it out. Tiny and black. Don't know the gender, personality, age and hasn't been to vet. Approx 8-12 weeks old is best guess. Anyone want to give this little poor kitten a warm loving home to make up for him/her being stuck in the drain pipes for over a week? (am I pulling on anyone's heart strings?)

LOL But someone out there must be! I just need to find them fast! My husband is ready to kick me out if I bring home one more, even if it is just to find them a home

I truly think you are the best. I am squirming with the desire to take that baby, But Sweetie, who loves kittycats too put his foot firmly down.

Hugs to you. And crossed fingers that you find a home for that little guy.

You are very kind and I hope you find a home for this kitten. I already have two and that is enough. If you do decide to take him/her to the vet I will help with a donation up to 25% of the total. Just PM me. Maybe a few others would as well.

My stray tabby who showed up on the doorstep half starved and a broken tail was an expensive vet visit. At the time he arrived, he was 7 pounds and is now 14 pounds. Time to put him on a diet. He no longer is starved but very well fed and a bit fat. He is a big tabby, but the vet said he should be around 12 pounds.

We have three rescue kitties who think they are dogs. They greet everyone who enters and speak to each. They run the right side of the house, the left side is shut off to them so grandson and son in law can sleep without allergy when they visit.. They plot to get to the other side.

Our three rescues, rescued at three different times within four months of each other, the third was a silly mistake we are now glad we made have made life here a LOT more fun and quite a bit more work.

We have a Dyson, and I am ready to do a commercial for it. We hope it doesn't wear out. We hope we don't wear out either. Keeping a home spotless and hairless with pets with two firstborn inhabitants is a job.

We love you Mikey, Harry and Hershey. You are worth it.

Please someone adopt this kitty.

Gracie, please expand on the third being a silly mistake...I would love to hear it. Maybe we should start a thread about how people came to find their beloved pets!
I also have a dyson that I love. I have a roomba too but stopped running it for fear it would catch fire from all the fur wrapping around its brushes. We have carpet here...first time in 15 years. Oh how I miss my laminate. So much easier to keep clean with animals...

I avoided this post originally but my husband showed me the adorable kitten's picture. We have been thinking of getting another cat since having to put our sweet cat down about 2 years ago. I knew we weren't going to be doing that until we moved down here which we did 10 months ago. We have a 7 year old rescue German Shorthair Pointer/Chocolate Lab mix who is very large and did live with our previous cat, Irish. They eventually got along great after a while and I assumed bringing in a new cat as a kitten would be easier. I would prefer a male cat but I understand you don't know the gender yet. We are also leaving to go to Ohio next Tuesday, returning on December 3rd. I am so moved by your story of this kitten being rescued out of the storm drain and really feel he or she deserves a loving home. Can you keep the kitten until we return? Thanks so much. Ellen
