I believe everyone gets one in the mail - comes with your own code number to log on with; however, not available till 8am on March 13th so watch for it in your mailbox.

I assume any future dog parks would have to be in isolated areas, probably areas zoned commercial, perhaps next to a Fire Hall like the Bonita Dog Park. That way the fire sirens can cover any puppy barks!

I wonder where a dog park will rank in the 'needs/wants' section of the survey in comparison to grocery stores and churches!

Right after raising amenities fees.

I think grocery stores, restaurants and other shopping definitely falls into the needs category. Commercial development is profit-driven, and will definitely happen as The Villages grows larger. And larger. And larger.

Dog parks actually aren't an issue for us personally, I don't have a horse in this race. We pay to take our two dogs each day to a private dog park. We don't mind paying, and we'll continue to do that. However I think a few more small dog parks would go a long way to lessen some of the friction currently felt by those who don't want to see dogs walked at the postal stations or in the neighbourhood.

You're right! The surveys letters are out and we received ours yesterday. The survey does start on 3/12 @ 8am and it ends on 4/7 at midnight. On the letter it provides one of those access codes for each individual on record as living in the household. If you think you should have received a letter with the codes and haven't by the 13th or if you have any questions, you can call the District Customer Service center at 753-4508.
